At the Maybank Championship 2024, we were tasked with creating a vibrant and cohesive experience for the Village Area—a space that brought together all of Maybank’s entities, from Etiqa and Foundation to MAE, Sports IP – Cycling Series and Bali Marathon.
Our mission was clear: design and build a space that represents Maybank’s commitment to sustainability, unity, and customer engagement. From crafting unique booth designs for each entity to planning immersive activations, every detail of the Village Area reflected Maybank’s values.

Sustainability as a Priority:
All materials used in the setup had to be recyclable, aligning with Maybank’s strong focus on ESG values.
Creating a Seamless Journey Across Diverse Themes:
With multiple vendors, sponsors, and Maybank entities involved—each with their own direction and theme—maintaining a cohesive look and feel throughout the Village Area was no small feat.
Maximizing Small Spaces for Big Ideas:
The allocated area was limited, but the client’s vision was ambitious. The challenge was to design booths and manage space efficiently to avoid a cluttered feel while delivering a smooth customer journey.

Sustainable Solutions in Design:
We sourced and utilized recyclable materials for the entire setup, ensuring the Village Area reflected Maybank’s sustainability goals without compromising on style or functionality.
Unifying Themes Across Diversity:
By carefully aligning visuals, booth designs, and activations, we brought a sense of unity to the Village Area. Each Maybank entity’s booth maintained its unique identity while seamlessly blending into the larger Village concept.
Space That Breathes:
Through smart design and layout planning, we optimized the limited space to fit the client’s vision while maintaining a clear, engaging customer journey. Strategic booth placement reduced congestion, giving visitors the freedom to explore comfortably.
Lights, Sound, and Energy:
We programmed the sound and lights across the golf course, adding an immersive touch to the Village Area that enhanced the overall event atmosphere and kept the energy high.
